This is a sad indictment of office life. "A 51-year-old who worked in the risk management division of the LA County Dept. of Internal Services, was reportedly performing an audit when she died at her desk but her body was not discovered until the next day." No one said good-night at the end of the day? Or was she one of those dedicated compliance/internal auditors who worked after everyone else was gone. My marketing contact mentioned this story to me. This lady just became a grandma - it's just sad. You'd think, that working in cubicles, that her neighbors would have heard something or walked past her at some point. When I worked in a cube farm, there was always a lot of activity around me. Made it hard for me to adapt to an office with a door on a very quiet floor.

The video said no one talked to her after 9 AM. Sad.

I misread your reply to my post, Deek. I thought you were taking responsibility for being the hard to get along with suspected alcoholic neighbor of mine who let everyone know I was sleeping. While I wasn't sleeping (or dead), the description of my neighbor is perfect. I see now that you were just responding to the thread. I'm slow today. Or asleep. I find the story amusing, too. P.S. I also wanted the opportunity to say "Damn You" to someone who wouldn't click notify.

Oh, God. They know about the rat poison. I might as well just turn myself in.
