We are contemplating entering into an agreement with a Third Party vendor to offer Accidential Death and Dismemberment insurance via a direct mail campaign.

The materials will have our signature as well as the signature of an insurance agent that is licensed in 50 states.

Has anyone had experience with this? If so, did your bank have to acquire a license to offer this?

If memory serves me, you do have to have a licensed insurance person...it will affect your privacy notice and you likely will have to make sure and have the "no/no/no" language in the material and disclosures.

Thanks.

That is exactly what I have been telling our marketing department and the vendor but they are insisting that we don't have to be licensed.
