One to think about and read fairly slowly: Without a Backward Glance, a novel by Kate Veitch.

I'll have to read it when I get home. It's nice to know that he's working on the next book!

Still working my way through a bunch of amazon freebies- Just finished book one (free) and two (2.99) of the Soulkeepers series. All about fallen angels and divine warriors. Fallen is a better series, but Soulkeepers is not bad at all.

Also just finished The Trouble with Spells- book 1 in a 4 book set, and I can't decide if I want to pay for the next 3. It is a good story and interesting plot, but very poorly written. Not so much with typos, but with poor word choice and run on sentances- almost seems as if it was written by a high school student.

I'm reading No Ordinary Time, by Doris Kearns Goodwin. It's slow reading, but very interesting.

Just bought my first Kindle book (all the others so far have been free). Trashy-trash paranormal romance by Gena Showalter called The Darkest Night, on sale for 99c. Read about half of it last night... decent plotline involving ancient warriors being punished by the Greek gods by hosting demons inside of them.

Oooh, Lords of the Underworld...you'll like them. smile

I've been working my way through Lara Adrian's Midnight Breed novels. For Black Dagger Brotherhood fans, they are very similar to that series.

Maddox reminds me a little of Barrons from the Faefever series by Karen Marie Moning. And I love him.

Thank you RR Sarah for the recommendation for the Lara Adrian series, I am in love with the BDB and have been looking for something similar to fill the wait until the next one comes out! Downloading Kiss of Midnight right now!!

I think it is Kiss of Midnight.

ETA: Amazon had an 8 book bundle of the series for $49.99 but I didn't want to commit to 8 books before I read the first.
