Thursday is my last day before vacation too!!!

Gah! It's been nearly a year since my last vacation.

NP, what are they picketing for outside of your bank?

People have been encouraged to picket by union leaders because they think the bank contributed to the governor's compaign.

oooooh... that's dumb.

What's dumb is that they vandalized one of the branches over this junk.

I think we've had picketers here every day this week so far. Large group on Monday - had to have horse patrol to monitor the situation.

We have 42" plasmas at every in-store branch rolling marketing promos and little in-house commercials, etc. We could have fun with the "unbanked".

Well, ya know, just how convenient would it be to bank right where you're picketing? (sales pitch, no?)
And for those that are having health problems due to stress at work? I'm so sorry! Seems that should never happen. That's one of the many reasons why I will get out of the "corporate world" as soon as I can. I hope you feel better real soon!

You want to growl everytime you walk into someone's office or through bookkeeping and they're all reading the newspaper, or the sports, shopping on ebay, browsing the internet... you get the drift.

How aout you cringe when you send out the next e-mail because you're going to get either 1. A lot of flack; or 2. A lot of stupid questions.

Unfortunately I had to send out two this morning that have caused both of the above.

Honestly - I used to love compliance - I really enjoy discovering things and minute detail. Not so much anymore, but don't know what else to do. I've been in compliance for 17 years and banking for 31+.
