We are creating a teller manual, but do not know where to begin. It's a little overwhelming... smile Can anyone point us in the right direction for getting started, or if there is some sort of template available (this would be wonderful!). Any advice and/or pointers are greatly appreciated. Thanks!

The first thing you need to do is identify what you want this manual to be; is it operational, training, customer service, informational, security?

Once you decide the format, you can decide what to put in the manual.

Some ideas:

Background on banking/money, information about checks, customer service, their workstation, bank regulations, fraud and security, processing of various items, etc...
