I have searched and cannot find an answer. What is a good rule of thumb for retaining training records not associated with certain regulations?

Training records are subject to review, in the case of the FDIC, during the Safety and Soundness exam and the Compliance exam, so a good plan is to retain through the exam, plus three months (just in case a training issue comes up).

Depends also, I would think, on how you are storing the records - I am storing mine on a Training Management software program, so anticipate having them for as long as I want. Will also be used for employee development, so I think that would be a better reason to hang on to them?
