Hello,

I'm examined by the FDIC, and am beginning a Reg E self-review. When I go to the FDIC's Rules and Regs, ( here) I see they don't include 205.20. Huh?!?

Does this mean we aren't subject to the gift card rules? I implemented them last fall, did I need to?

Help!

I guess they are just behind - you still have to comply - go here instead as BOL is always up to date smile

Thanks Randy. I always use BOL, so that's why I was so surprised to see it missing from the FDIC's rules. I originally started with their exam manual to use as a guide for my review, but the Reg E portion hasn't been updated since 6/09 and didn't even have the overdraft rules yet! Yes, they're just a bit behind! crazy

The FDIC attempts to include pertinent Fed regulations in its collection of Laws and Regulations (whether in their familiar burgundy loose-leaf binders or on the FDIC's website) as a tool for the large numbers of banks that it supervises. It doesn't promise that its copies of those rules are always current.
