Has anyone had a chance to look at this proposal yet? What an awful mess. Suddenly consumer international wire transfers are covered under Reg E. It includes an error resolution section and gives the customer the right to cancel the wire within one business day under certain circumstances.

We'll need to think long and hard about doing international wires for our consumers.

It covers more than wires. It covers bill pay, prepaid cards, and ACH. Still trying to decipher....

I have skimmed through the first 51 pages, and honestly, I don't know how we, a small community bank, will be able to provide all the required content on the disclosures.

This is one of the reasons that regulations have to go through a proposal/comment/final routine. If there are problems with the regulation that you think need the attention of the Fed, get involved in the comment process.
