When using an automated system for storing customer information relating to CTRs, how often should occupation information be reviewed and/or obtained for current and accurate information since occuptions may change frequently?

As needed or as policy dictates.

Occupation is tough in that a lot of times it is like CIP... the ID was currrent when the customer opened the account, 6 years ago, but now we know it is expired...

The similar logical path can be taken for occupation.

If you file regularly on the same people. Chances are they will be helpful if you verify their occupation for CTR purposes.
