We need to disclose to our customers who purchase savings bonds that they are NOT FDIC insured. How are you complying with this?

Are they completing bond application forms?

I can't remember, is there anything on the application itself that states it is not FDIC insured?

We complete the order form for US Savings Bonds and the form does not have it listed on there. Do we need to have a sign in the lobby, or include our own disclosure with the order form? Just curious how others are doing this?

Why, they are fully backed by the government as they are issued by the Treasury?
