Can anyone make a recommendation for a Compliance Audit Firm for a small community bank (under $1B)? We are shopping around for someone new.

1) You might want to indicate in what region of the country you are located.

2) Have you checked the BOL Guru area - there are a number of them listed there.

We are in the Midwest (Michigan). I will also check the Guru area, but was hoping to get a couple of recommendations.

We have used ICS for the past 3 years, they cover most of the East Coast. We have had some problems with them regarding turnover. We have had 4 reps in that period. The first one was fair, the second one did not get along with management, so we requested someone else. The next one we got was awesome, we wanted to hire her, but she ended up getting a job in Florida. Our current rep is ok.

We have also had some issues receiving answers when we have a compliance question.

We are thinking about expanding the audit dept. and bringing the compliance audit function back in-house.
