On a CTR regarding type of transaction, cashing a CD is considered an "other" (#36?)? Or just deposit/withdrawal?

And then I also reference the CD account number?

Thanks. I can't remember--it's been too long since we've had someone cash a CD in this amount and I can't find an answer online.

I would use withdrawal and list the CD account number as the affected account.

I agree - withdrawal from account.

Unless, of course, you issue a cashier's check for the proceeds which in turn is cashed. Many banks do that.
