I had a customer come in and cash a check over $10,000.00. The payee's are husband and wife. They both signed the check, however only the husband was in the bank receiving the cash. Do I have to put the wife (who is equally benefitting from the cash) on the CTR and if so than how?

Thanks

Put husband on front and wife on back in Section since the transaction was behalf of both of them; check the box "conducted on own behalf" in Section B.

Sorry - they go in Section A.

I would report both. Check multiple persons. Identify the husband in the first Section A (conducted on own behalf in Section B). Complete a second section A with the wife's info. y
