As it pertains to savings accounts and excess debits, do you use a calendar month or actual statement cycle of 3 months? This seems harder than it probably is.

For monitoring excessive transactions for Regulation D purposes you need to use a month or similar four-week period. For savings accounts on quarterly statement cycles, I have always monitored based on a calendar month.

I use calendar months for savings as well.
