We are currently having an issue with a check. Our member sent a physical check to Company A. It went to a check processor and came to us as a POP transaction. The problem, however, is that the check processor cleared it through the wrong company. Instead of crediting it to Company A, they credited it to Company B. This happened in December and we are just being notified by our member that Company A never received the funds, after Company A notified them.

ACH transactions can only be rejected up to 60 days. So we are currently trying to get a copy of the authorization (check) from the check processor, but they are saying they dont get a copy of it. What now?
