A local agent has submitted a flood insurance application to NFIP for our borrower but we have not received a Declarations Page. Every time we call NFIP, we are told the application is in "underwriting". They did send us and the borrower a "temporary" Dec Page, which states "pending policy issuance".
Would this be considered adequate proof of coverage?

I've accepted many a copy of the application with acknowledgement of payment and never batted an eye. Those come directly from the local insurer.
