I'm reading Somewhere in Time, I know it's an old book but after reading What Dreams May Come I figured I would try it out and then watch the movie. Somewhere in time- the movie- was my grandfather's favorite movie ever. We watched it together all the time. It was filmed in Mackinac Island MI, which is my favorite place on the planet. I've never been able to afford to go into the Grand Hotel, but I've always wanted to. Had no idea it was a book- will definetly have to be picking that up!!

I've been reading books for a review website, so I've been stuck reading some YA, fantasy/vampire/magick stuff. Not my normal cup of tea, but I can appreciate the writing quality. ::like::

I'm glad the Hunger Games books aren't terribly long. I read Catching Fire pretty much in one sitting last night. Will probably be buying the third one tonight.

Read Slow Hands last night- Free for Kindle, Harlequin romance smut, but it was a surprisingly good story. I always read fantasy, but last night I was in a romance kind of mood, so I indulged. Finished it in one sitting- about 3 hours- but like I said- it was surprisingly good. Perfect for the beach or a late night with a glass of wine.

oh yea, kindle has all kinds of smut for free- this was mild smut- only 3 really graphic scenes, but there are other ones for free that are actually labeled erotica- so whatever your poisen, you can indulge in at least a little. Look under "special collections"

I was going to go get it, but then I remembered that my mother and brother also share my Kindle account and there are just somethings that are better that they don't know....

Mozart's Sister, by Nancy Moser. Fictional bio, reminded me of how good the movie, "Amadeus", was. The book does a good job of weaving the facts from http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Maria_Anna_Mozart

Ours is not, but when I asked she said "hopefully someday". That's better than no.

It took me forever to find it, but it looks like my library is now supporting ebooks too! I wonder if it works for Kindle apps????

My library just got it yesterday- I went home on my lunch break and got another smut book, and Fallen. And yes, it works with kindle apps, I downloaded them to my Android phone. You should have seen me! I was soooooooo excited. Selection is still a little thin, but there are some good books on there.

YEAH!! Thanks Loralie! I have been going to the library every other week to swap out two books at a time, and it would be easier if I could just read them on my stinkin' phone!

I just started Storm Front too. I have heard great things about this series from multiple people.
Does anyone else read multiple books at once? I started Storm Front on my Nook app on my phone, I started the newest Clan of the Cave Bear book (Can't remember the title) on my Nook at home and have the second Game of Thrones book in process. I guess I just get into different moods so I need different books.

I really can't, not unless its like a textbook and a pleasure book. I've tried, but i have a hard time keeping the stories straight in my head. My 9 year old however can read like 10 books at a time, she's always reading something new.
