Bank
If we have a customer who knows who used his debit card (son) and he disputes those charges with the bank. What can the bank do? We have about $5,000 in charges that were not the customers.

Would we file a police report? Or would the customer?

I will discuss this in my upcoming webinar Oct 27. This isn't unusual. You can't require the customer file a report with the PD. You can tell them if they dont, you will and you step in their shoes when you pay the claim and take the loss. That means the child may still get arrayed and the parent may still have to deal with that. I have had parents say "good- it will be a tough love lesson for him."

"We have about $5,000 in charges"

Round it up to $5,000 and dust off a SAR also smile
