Has anyone who provides text banking/alerts heard anything about a short code auditing program being administered by Cellular Telecommunications Internet Association(CTIA). I hear they are auditing banks on their terms and conditions and disclosures and penalties could include suspension of activity.

Who is the CTIA and what authority do they have over banks?

The CTIA(Cellular Telecommunications Internet Association) owns the short code used for our text abnking, therefore I have heard they can restrict a bank's use of that code, thus crippling our text banking. So they have no authority over a bank but authority over the technology needed to provide text banking.
