That was funny, Rocky. Good thing you added the dyslexic part.

FINALLY ABOVE the gnat line
So, Nikko, you and my daughter share the same birthday! I have no proof of this and am just guessing that you are older than 7 today! Have a happy, happy day, year, life!

Thanks everyone. Today started out as a good day. My 7 year old gave me a bag of presents and explained them to me. It was very cute.

1. A flexible fold up hamper. Because she thinks I need one.
2. Magnifying glass. Because I think it is more for her than me.
3. A book of things that happened on this day in 1970. Because I'm old.
4. A set of candles that read 34. She liked the colors.
5. A pair of socks. So I stop asking if she knows where my socks are.

That with my dinner tonight and my wife got me a phonography. I'm really excited about that. Now I can listen to all my 80's rock on LPs that I haven't used for over 10 years.

Happy Birthday, Nikko. I hope this year is great for you. With your new phonography, you and your seven-year-old can enjoy listening to "oldies" .

Nikko, I turned 34 this week too, that's NOT OLD! Plus, I always listen to my 80's rock music, I never stopped and will always "live in the 80's as my husband would say!

Okay, I had to read this twice.....should I say that at first glance I did not think your wife bought you something to play records on!

Ooops. Yeah that's what I meant. With my biz I write photography a lot and....well you can see the error.

The cool thing about this is my daughter has never seen or heard a record before. She is going to think this is really cool.

FINALLY ABOVE the gnat line
I pulled out the original Mickey Mouse Club album for my daughter and she thought is was a big CD, couldn't understand why you had to move that arm thingy, and why did it sound weird? If you haven't listened to your albums in a while, you may be surprised at the "scratchy" sound. We've grown accustomed to such a better quality of sound.

Happy Birthday. We took your advice and enjoyed MIA over the weekend. We also took the kids to the Science Musuem in St.Paul - always cool.
