Ah, the SEC lovefest has begun as Oklhahoma drops another spot to #3 behind LSU and Alabama. This after winning 62-6?

I agreed with the drop to #2 after LSU dominated a good team, but come on, how do you drop a position after winning by 56 points and spreading the ball around? Are you going to keep voting teams in and out of spots after every conference game now? OU/Texas is this week. If OU wins, does that mean that they'll get #2 back?

Yes, it'll be decided. The team that wins will go to -1 loss and team that loses will stay "undefeated", at least in the media's eyes.

A couple things, anyways besides the SEC love. Bama dominated a previously undefeated team & they've played 5 games to OU's 4.

Like i said, i've quit worrying about the AP poll, but Alabama's win over Florida at Florida is no more impressive to me than OU's win over Florida State at Florida State. The media is funny: ESPN.com reports how "Alabama and LSU have each beaten 3 ranked teams". Alabama beat Penn State who is no longer ranked (and never should have been ranked) and truly a pitiful team at this point. LSU beat Mississipi State which stands 2-3 now and 0-3 in conference play. That leaves wins for LSU over Oregon (impressive) and West Virginia (we'll see, it's West Virginia...who knows what they'll be); and Alabama with wins over Florida (good win) and Arkansas (decent win, but let's face it....Alabama is supposed to win home games against Arkansas).

I'm not saying that's how I'd vote. Just pointing out possible reasons.
