In researching, I have found that Credit Unions and their trade organizations have step up to provide information to prospective customers for Bank Transfer Day on November, 5. However, I have found that community banks and the community banking trade organizations have very little. Does anyone have any suggestions, or have you set up a program for this event that you would be willing to share?

Your bank can always do some promotion on its own, but frankly I think anything a bank does to encourage this activity could come back to bite.

Be prepared to open a few accounts on the 5th, but don't expect any crowds in your lobby.
