Please think of my family in your prayers. My husband passed away two weeks ago from lung cancer that had metastasized throughout his body. We found out a month ago that cancer was the cause of the back pain and pneumonia he had been miserable with for a couple months. Many of you know we have a two year old. Tomorrow is her birthday. But I also have step children that are 19 and 22. I feel so terrible that they had to witness the decline and death of their father over so short a time. I tell the baby that daddy isn't home when she asks for him. I am ok but I struggle to do normal things. My husband was gone for business or to take care if his mother a lot so it still seems surreal that he wont come in the door with his overnight bag again. It would help if you'll keep us in your prayers.

What just blows my mind since his death? Everything has broken. Washer, refrigerator, two of the three heat pumps. And everything is 200 and some odd dollars to fix. I'm going broke $200 at a time. I have heard from other widows (cant believe I just called myself a widow at 35 years old). That the same thing happpened when they lost their spouse. Do me a favor in honor of my incredible husband? Turn around and take a second to hold your loved ones close? Sometimes they are gone too soon.
