Hello all
Just wondering if anyone has seen the new Stephen King movie called Bag of Bones. Watched it last night, it was interesting, and is pretty good. Comes on again tonight. I guess King is making a come back with having Haven and Bag of Bones both airing. Just getting all those Stephen King fans opinions.

I watched most of it - I thought it started out very slow. I'll probably flip through it tonight - if it looks like it's picking up, I'll stay with it.

DVR'ed it to watch so we can watch it all at once (and fast forward through the commercials). Favorite Stephen King book made into a movie--The Stand...

I thought The Stand was way to long...of course, I read the full version...my fav of his is Christine...book way better than the movie. "It" is my 2nd favorite, then probably Pet Semetary...

Hate the way King ended Gunslinger series. Spent many years invested in that as a loyal reader. Not a fan anymore.

Of course you read the full version. ...

My attention span doesn't allow me to read long books. LOL

Yep, the Stand was loooong, but again I DVR it and skip all the commercials, that helps shorten it up and you get the option of finishing it up another night if one night is too long.
I am a huge Stephen King fan although not a big fan of the Gunslinger series.

I thought the mini series of The Stand was good, except for the casting of Harold and Frannie.

I have noticed that he doesn't really end books well. Hated the gunslinger ending/ A giant alien spider in IT? IT was a good book until you found out what the monster was.

I love his books, but the tv movies that he directs himself are terrible. Rose Red? Kingdom Hospital? Storm of the Century? I thought they were terrible. He's a fantastic writer but a terrible producer. I think I'll skip Bag of Bones. smile
