I HATE Christmas Shoes! I have to turn the radio off when it comes on. It is the worst song ever written.

My favorite is the Hallelujah Chorus from "The Messiah".

Methinks I agree with you on that. We got to sing it in show choir once (yes, I said show choir) and we got a standing ovation from the audience! It was the coolest feeling, plus mega goosebumps! I still remember the whole thing.

I started singing "The Messiah" in high school, and usually participate in a Messiah sing-in a local church sponsors.

Show Choir rocks! We sang it with the entire choir though.

My church choir sang it again to end our program this year. And it is tradition to stand during the song. Anyone know why? When it was first performed, the Queen of England was so moved that she stood. Anytime the Queen stands, everyone stands. So now it is tradition that you stand for the song because the Queen did.

My dad's family gets together every year at some point around Christmas to celebrate. We are a big family and we love to sing, acapella, of course. We always sing carols, and many times we take the caroling to the local hospital and homes of close family friends. I used to be embarrassed, but now I think it's one of the neatest traditions, and I hate missing it.
