We have a new employee who was registered at a previous institution. This employee's information has been updated to include our institution. However, in a review I found that the employment history section of her registry record indicates she is currently employed by both institutions.

Who is responsible for updating the record for her old institution? Should that have been taken care of when we updated her registry info for our bank or should the previous instution have done that?

I believe the previous institution should have updated their records to indicate that this employee no longer works there. They should do it within 30 days of the status change.

Your employee is also responsible for updating her own record to show accurate employment information, and it's also her responsibility to do so within 30 days.
