El Timo de Hortono's es, en mi opinión, un café canadiense sobrestimado y cadena del buñuelo, ala Dunkin.

Donate the extra to a soup french toast casserole kitchen.

out of the frying pan...
anybody have a decent recipe for cranberry scones? Most scone recipes I've tried turn out too dry even if I barely work the dough enough to hold it together.

I don't make but I do eat. Swedish tea ring is a pastry that my wife traditionally makes for the family for breakfast Christmas morning and has lo these many years.

Tim Horton's is good. Wish we had 'em down here in Texas.

One of our favs from allrecipes. It's almost like a bread rather than pie:

Crustless Cranberry Pie

Ingredients:
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 cup white sugar
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 cups cranberries
1/2 cup chopped walnuts
1/2 cup butter, melted
2 eggs
1 teaspoon almond extract

Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease one 9 inch pie pan.
2. Combine the flour, sugar, and salt. Stir in the cranberries and the walnuts, and toss to coat. Stir in the butter, beaten eggs, and almond extract. If you are using frozen cranberries, the mixture will be very thick. Spread the batter into the prepared pan.
3. Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 40 minutes, or until a wooden pick inserted near the center comes out clean. Serve warm with whipped cream or ice cream

Where I am supposed to be
Mrs. PP makes caramel rolls from scratch. She even makes one or two for Santa, who from what I hear is very happy to get them.

Ever tried king Arthur flour or recipies? Both are excellent.

This recipe for cranberry scones has some good tips.
