I apologize up front if this is the incorrect forum for this question but I am not sure where it fits.

If the Bank has two mortgages on one piece of real estate and assuming our two mortgages are the only liens filed on the property, do we need to be listed as first and second mortgagee on the insurance certificate or are we covered if we are just listed as first mortgagee?

I don't think it matters if you hold both senior liens, but this may be a state law issue. Perhaps someone can answer more difinively.
