I am reviewing a loan file and noticed that in the file we have an escrow analysis disclosing PMI. As I continue to research the file and review the HUD-1 the section for Mortgage Insurance is left blanck. I have noticed on the TIL the box is checked Includes Private Mortgage Insurance. My question is: Shouldn't we be disclosing the Mortgage Insurance on the HUD-1 Statement to the borrower? If not why? Any assistance is appreciated.

Check this against your PMI Certificate, if it is a ZOMP certificate then no money is due until the 1st payment and we don't disclose that in the escrow section of the HUD as we are not collecting at the table. We do disclose this monthly amount on the Initial Escrow Disclosure as a monthly payout and it is listed in the breakdown on the 1st Payment Letter.

FWIW, we show 0 months collected, but show the monthly amount in the 1000's of the HUD.
