Section 1086 of Dodd-Frank requires adjustments to the $200 next-day availability requirement in Reg. CC; the adjustments are to be ". . . every 5 years after December 31, 2011...."

Does that mean we should look for the next adjustment to be effective in 2017 or in 2016?

I keep a compliance calendar and put future dates out there to help remember what changes will be coming. We wouldn't want to order a supply of disclosures right before a change.

Well, it could go a number of different ways. They could determine the new figure on Dec 31st, for a later implementation date or determine it ahead of time and make is effective Jan 1st. It is hard to say at this specific date. In five years, everything might be transferred to electronic presentment only and Reg CC might be repealed.

Thanks. And, I might be in a cabin by a lake instead.
