I have recently been promoted to an operations supervisor with our financial institution's branch. I have never held a position as this, ever. Start with your HR department and become familiar with the employee handbook. Set up a visit with each department you have contact with.

Many state banking associations (that your bank is probably a member of) offer a variety of classes throughout the year and even webinars you can view at your office. Also check the American Bankers Association website. They may have some materials or classes too.
