Yes, I am the one and only Queen of Craigslist and no one can take that from me, but....

What are your best finds on Craigslist (or sales)?

Sold my hand me down Sleep Number bed on there a couple of years ago - had people fighting over it. A hot chick showed up at 11PM at night to look at it, I was sure I was going to wake up in a bathtub full of ice with a kidney missing....

Tried to sell the 200 watt amp and 2 X 12" sub woofer that was shoe horned into the trunk of the car I bought last year and got 0 response.

Guess I am the court jester of Craigslist.

Just a short drive from Lake E...
I'm a huge fan of Craiglist. There used to be a national serch engine called Craiglook, and I bought parts and accessories for my Harley from all over the U.S. Bought a set of highway pegs from a guy in Iowa and sent him cash. Got the pegs, no problem.

I bought a 9 foot prelit Christmas tree for our lake house last fall. Every light worked and it looked great in the house.

Oh man....where do I start???

My fave is the jacuzzi. $280 for a 5-person hottub in perfect working order..I love that thing...seriously.

$225 for a custom jacuzzi cover. If you;ve ever had to buy one, you knwo what a deal that is.

$95 for an original but works just fine Cricut cutter with extra blades, mats, 3 cartirdges, vinyl, Cricut tool kit, rotary circle cutter with mat, eyelet punchign set, 3 scrapbooks, bunches of letter stickers, design book.......

$100 for an unused red KitchenAid mixer (lol, y'all remember that thread?). The model I got would have been over $400 new...

$80 for Noritake china with complwete service for 8 plus a lot fo extras (which I made into service for 12 via ebay).

$40 for my cute beach cruiser bike complete with basket and front/rear fenders (and cruisers out here don't go cheap! I just lucked out).

I think those are my best craigslist deals, btu certainly not all of them laugh

As far as selling, I';ve sold quite a bit but nothing notable. I sold a bunch of stuff from my house when I bought it...the fake gas logs, the plastic shutters, the pulls and hinges from my kitchen....LOTS of free dirt.

I have had NO luck with Craig's List. I've tried to sell some stuff but all I have ever gotten are the scammers. Never sold anything.

It's not anything I would go to on any regular basis.

In my area Craigslist is as high as buying in the stores for many items.

But it is good to find yard sales.

We sold all our appliances after replacing them with stainless steel. They were originals that the builder put in, but they all worked. Sold the fridge in 24 hours, the oven and overhead microwave in a few days, then the dishwasher sold last around 2 weeks. Made almost half the money back we used to buy the new ones!!!!!

Oh, and also Missed Connections!!! Always good for a laugh. laugh

We sold our 15 yr old doughboy pool in 3 days (actually had it sold in 1 day, but that party backed out). The people who ended up with it drove over 4 hrs to pick it up and once they got here they decided to buy the attached deck to.
Also sold sons beater car, put in ad and the phone instantly started ringing, sold it the next evening.
I did buy a budda for the backyard, but always check there first if we are in the market for anything that you dont mind buying used.

Only been to Craigslist once and that was when I decided that I wanted a clawfoot bathtub. Then I decided that buying a used bathtub skeeved me out too much.

We sold our above ground pool for $1400 with it being listed for only 1 day! It was there when we bought the house and we were thinking about disassembling it and putting it in the dumpster. So excited to make some money off of it.

The price for new, wooden piano benches was scary ($300), so I tried CL and found one for $25.

I just sold an old sofa. I was asking $50, but the guy really wanted it so he offered me $150 without even seeing it. He was having some problems with his checking account so he endorsed over to me a cashiers check that his business got from a customer. It's for $5000, so I have to wire him $4850, and then he'll send someone to get the sofa. I'm really happy to get rid of it.
