OK, sounds like Fusion is ahead. We owned Chevys for the last 4 cars. I had my mailbu for 10 with 187K miles. Traded it in because it needed some awfully priced repair and, as I commute, there was no promise that other things would start breaking. Personally I wanted to get to 200K, however....

Now if only we can find a relatively honest dealer.....

You are here
You "traded" a car in that "needed some awfully priced repair" and is now looking for "a relatively honest dealer"

Hmmm

I have a 2004 and a 2010 Malibu -- very nice car. However, I like the 2004 model better than the 2010 model. I can't put my finger on it but the 2004 seems more comfortable. Getting in and out of the 2010 is a struggle. I think it has something to do with the way the seats are shaped.

That's no longer a current model. I would look at the Aventador instead.

I don't care how fast or slow your car is, all interiors should look similar to that of the Aventador. Perfection.

I say neither.

I recently drove a Malibu as a rental and didn't like it. Compared to my Nissan Altima, it felt like I was in a little sub-compact car or something. It was the "loaded" version but it felt very junky and cheap.

The only opinion of the Fusion that I have is that it is the ugliest sedan on the roads today (in my opinion, of course). I can't get over the ugly design so I'd never drive it. Now, if they redesigned it to be more in line with the new Focus designs, it would be ok.

I've only had one Ford in my life, it was a piece of doodoo and it made me write off Fords from that point on. I don't feel much better about Chevrolet, but we did just buy a new Traverse for the hubs... It was the best deal on a big family car, so we took a chance. We shall see.

Don't hold back, you know, just in case someone on here owns one of them, lol.

You may want to check out the Buick Regal as stated above as they look like very nice cars.

Also, in place of a brand new vehicle, you may want to consider a Certified Pre Owned one maybe a little higher line than the Fusion or Malibu.

That's funny, I think the fusion is a very attractive car. (Reminds me of a later, better looking Honda, I don't like the new Hondas).

It just depends on the personal taste.

I saw the new Regal and thought it looks sweet also.

The radio commericals (in NY)for MB claims that a teller make as much as a nurse and a nurse can afford a MB. As it is on the radio it must be true.

I did say it was my opinion, didn't I? wink I'm sure there are people who think my Altima is an ugly car, but whatever - I love it.

My brother bought the new Buick Regal and that car is VERY nice, inside and out.

The new ones are really sweet! I get them as rentals from time to time as well.

But at 35, I guess I'm pretty old frown

I dont like anything that isnt fast and fun. The new Regal tubo with the 6sp manual, is pretty fun.
It won't hang with the WRX, but its ok for what it is and is very nice looking.

I think I miss my 330csi... frown

I saw on Top Gear where they did a segment on the Cadillac CTS V-series. They did a drag race with a Ferrari (not a top of the line, but a Ferrari none the less) and the Cadillac won. It was even the Station Wagon version! They took it around their test course and it was quick - in fact the wagon version was slightly faster on the course than the coupe.

I would think you would want one that is is pristine condition, not the worst way. But, you may suffer from self esteem issues and feel that a pristine one is too good for you grin
