What are the repercussions of omitting the dates in lines one and two of the GFE? My best guess is that we are bound to the terms and the rate of the GFE forever since there were no dates given as to when rate and terms expire.

Anyone else have any thoughts?

Curled up by the fire...
Just my two cents from previous research on a very similar question...

You are bound to that GFE. You can add the dates in if you wish and re-issue it to the consumer just so they have a right one, but you are bound to the fees of the first one.
Unless there is a valid changed circumstance, the tolerances will be from the wrong GFE to the HUD.
