Trying to keep up with a sharp razor sux for me; this might be worth the money considering how much they shaft you for refills.

Cant see youtube at work (computer nazi's). But is this the Shaving club deal that is supposed to save you $ on razors? I heard something about it. I am a razor snob, so I dont if I would be ok with it. But I honestly dont know much about it.

Yes, BB; they are getting razors from companies other than the biggies (Bic, Gillette, Schick, etc.) and they will deliver one to your house each month for as low as $1 per month, depending on which razor you select.
I have been continually disappointed with the quality of Gillette and others so I may just give them a try.

I switched to a Merkur safety razor several years ago (the kind that uses one old fashioned double edged blade). After learning how to use it, this razor gives me a great shave with zero irritation, the blades are about 75 cents a piece and seem to last forever.
The only downside I have found so far is that I can't take it on a plane in my carry on. When I do travel by plane, I get horrible razor burn from using regular razors.

My neck is a jerk when it comes to irritation. I have to stick to 1-2 blades, any more and it's terrible. The rest of my face gets a fancy expensive electric razor and behaves quite nicely. So the cheap disposable ones do a better job than the expensive fancy ones that tend to be locked up (with the Tide probably!)

<----- uses the Gillette Fusion Me too! I was on the cheap a while back and bought a bunch of the 2 blade disposables, but I got about 1.5 shaves per razor so I switched.

They are so freking expensive, no?
I use it mainly for my neck...anything cheapers tears it all the heck! I have an electric razor for my face and I usually keep a little scruff above the neck. I'd say I haven't been fully clean shaven in over a year!

I had gotten about a half dozen Schick Quatro razors for free (they were giving away a free handle and blade to hook you into buying more blades) and they were the best "grocery store razors" for not ripping up my skin. Gillette Mach III are also good. But I still can't beat the shave and savings I get with the Merkur. Plus the razor itself is a work of art. It's heavy, beautifully machined, German engineering.

Shaving is one of the biggest annoyances in the lives of men, second only to women, closely followed by other men not following bathromm etiquette. It's serious business!

My favorite breach of bathroom etiquette is to say "nice watch!" when at the urinal with a stranger
