I really can't say enough about em. They truly are the cat's pajamas! I'd heard some bad reports about loading stability, but I think that's very much dependant on your network, not the product or service itself. (The basic ones require a wireless connection FYI, the more pricy ones will take a physical connection).

For anyone that streams Netflix or wants to, I say this is the best way to do it, unless you already have a fancy schmancy video game machine that will do it.

I think I heard something about Hulu being available thru Wii, but I already had the Roku, and that has Amazon Premium, Netflix, Hulu+, Pandora, and a bunch of other channels. There are kids' channels too (I think) and an Angry Birds channel for those of you who can't get enough of that.

We have Netfilx through the Roku, my family really likes it. I have seen an option for the HULU, but haven't taken the plunge on this one.

I use the wii to view Netflix and have at times had a really difficult time with it stopping and reloading the program I am watching. Netflix streams fine to any laptop in my home with NO issues or pausing. Has any one used a Roku who used to use the wii for Netflix? Just wondering if a Roku would solve the problem.....

Not sure about cable or HULU, but whatever you do, avoid getting your TNT from Acme. It never works out for the coyote.

We saw a live road runner this past Septembe in AZ.Looked for the Coyote, none in sight.

Lots of answers.....however, can anyone of you using Hulu, Roku or a combo of those and Netflix, watch TNT? That is the only station I love but won't get the whole cable thing just for those shows.....

Thanks Kitt. I was pretty sure that it was just the wii that was the issue since I have zero problems with it on the laptops.

FINALLY ABOVE the gnat line
You can go online to the HULU site and search for the shows you like to see if you can get the TNT versions. I've been able to get BBC shows thru Netflix.

It's also easy to kill a Saturday or Sunday with VH-1's top 100 shows. They count down 20 of whatever category per hour and before you know it, 5 hours is gone. shocked

the TNT website shoes episodes are available but not quick and free like, say, CBS or NBC. They mention something about our cable provider, etc. I don't want to give any more money to my cable provider. I would give it to TNT, or HULU or Flix, if they have such a deal. TNT is like some of the others, HBO, Showtime. No access to current season episodes....

You can watch previously aired TNT's shows on their website. However, it sounds like you want to stream the station which I don't think is possible.

I think they all operate on the same principal of making specific shows/seasons of shows available. I don't know that any are really a whole channel. For example, I can get a ton of shows through NF/Roku from the History or Discovery channel, but they in no way carry them all. Additionally, Season 1 may be available now, towards the end of season two of the actual show airing, they are not generally updated as each new episode comes out. Hopefully they get more efficient in the future, but for now they lag behind. I do find they are much better in their selection of streamable TV than they are movies, so that is very helpful!
