On the Net
Central Texas had wind, hail, a good amount of rain (can still use more) and more lightning than I have seen in a very long time. "Rolling thunder" was redefined last night. We had no tornadoes but did see some evacuations for flash floods in the low lying areas.

Long night is right.

SW GA
Guess it's coming our way - SW GA. Haven't looked at the forecast lately. It will probably hit on Thursday as I try to get my mother into and out of the dentist's office. It usually rains when she has a medical appointment.

The Sovereign State Of Oklahom...
We got 6" of rain yesterday (a welcome thing) and some flooding, but nothing like you guys got!
You are glad to have it I am sure! I remember last spring when I was down there for a race. There was so much smoke in the air from the fires, it was hard to run! And it hasnt improved that much since then. Bad drought.

Further South than I wanna be.
I am not sure how much we end up with but I don't think it is over yet. For a while it split and the worst of it went on either side of Tulsa. But last night it was right over head. Still coming down today but pretty mild right now. Sure did turn cold tho.

It was a rough night. My dog panted at my bed near my face for 7 hours. I worried for my home and life that night. We get some bad storms in my part of TX, but this one had me worried.

Just up the road from Andy, we had the all night Thunderstorms and just over 6" of rain. It has really filled up the low lake levels around here. Some flooding occurred......but no tornadoes.

We have had 19" of rain since January 1, 2012. What a welcome change from last summer.
