We are looking at our CRA reports and noticed that the Census Reports on the FFIEC website have not been updated to reflect the census tract changes for 2012. Is there a timeframe as to when these will be updated or know of another source – or – am I looking at this wrong?

Those will be updated around June of this year. The geocoding has been updated, but not the reports. That update is pending the demographic data.

Re: CRA Public File, 228.43(e) states that "a bank shall ensure that the information required by this section is current as of April 1 of each year". Section 228.43(a)(6) requiers "a map of each assessment area showing the boundaries of the area and identifying the geographies within the area, either on the map or in a separate list." If demographics will not be available until June, do we have until June to update our CRA public file? I have a listing of the 2012 Census Tracts but not demographic details. Thank you!

You are not required to have demographic info on the tract list in your public file, just a list of tracts and the map.
