Does it matter what the exact percentage is for cancellation and termination of PMI? Do the percentages have to be exactly 80% and 78%?

80% or below is the point where the borrower may request cancellation, 78% is when you must cancel it. As soon as it hits 78%, I wouldn't wait any longer.
