Pulling people out of the ditc...
Guy on the Causeway behind me this morning was playing a harmonica for about 18 of the 23 miles...never seen that before...I wonder if it was Neil Young, Bob Dylan, or John Popper...after all, Jazz Fest is just around the corner, they likely need to make sure they are in peak shape...

If it was a 1959 Biodiesel Lincoln it could be Neil Young.

I hope it was a hands-free harmonica.

Sorry, I must've mis-remembered why he was in the news some years ago...I received a PM pointing out that he's alive, and a libertarian...uh oh...was that political?

The Sovereign State Of Oklahom...
In barely related subject, a friend was rearended by a car this weekend. She sustained some injury. Driver that hit her, said to the police officer...and I quote...."Its not my fault, the article that I was reading was poorly written and I lost my place..."
I'm sure she also votes and breeds. eek

Saw a woman applying eye make-up while driving on the interstate on Friday. I was doing 70 and she passed me while applying said make-up.

And she condemns herself to full fault through stupidity...

Hopefull it's no injury that can't be easily healed from and won't produce any long-term complications beyond a propensity to throw rocks at people who are on their phone while driving!

This also shows how people don't want to take any responsibility for their actions. It's 'always' someone else's fault.

I don't text and drive, have a 15 year old that will soon be driving and the example needs to be set. Can I do it? Yes, without any problems. But I don't. Same with drinking and driving, even if it is 1 beer. Either MsGilmore drives home if we've been to dinner and I had a beer, or if she orders wine I abstain (eagerly anticipating the day he gets his license so we can both get totally blitzed and make him drive!). Again, just about setting the proper example for our kid.

A few years ago, I saw a driver on the interstate in Nebraska with her left foot out the window by the left side mirror. Feet on dashboards and/or out the window is one of my pet peeves!! eek
