OKC Thunder are up 3-0 after destroying Dallas in Dallas in game 3, causing many of us to say "Dirk who?".

Rose is out, making things difficult in Chi-town.

I'm sticking with my OKC Thunder prediction to win it all here...any others?

I hope the Thunder win it all, but my brain says the Heat.

I HATE it, but the Lakers and Heat both look pretty stout.

OKC and The Spurs also have a chance.

On paper, Memphis has a puncher's chance.

I'm not sure anyone else can be considered more than a long-shot underdog.

OKCT

Heat have a cakewalk to the finals, only to lose again.

But at the end of the day, does it really matter? It's all fixed anyway.

Guess you know who I am rooting for! If not the Celtics, anybody but the Heat.

I REALLY want the Finals to be Thunder/Heat.

The way they battle during the season makes me think it would be an AWESOME 7 games.

Pulling people out of the ditc...
I heard that David Stern will be coming out this week with harsh suspensions for teams that are paying their players bounties for big dunks and showboating style. It seems that there are players whose feelings are getting hurt by these actions, so the NBA has decided to take action...

So, I'm bored. I like OKC just because they are OKC. I really don't follow basketball enough to care enough to watch the other teams play.

If only OKC hadn't swept the defending Champion Mavericks, I could still be catching a game every other night or so. Now I have to wait for the Lakers to finish up with whomever they were playing... wink

there will be 9 Barclays Premier League soccer matches broadcast at the same time Saturday across various Fox and ESPN sports networks...that should eliminate your boredom and put some excitement in your life

I saw a blurb about a big match coming up. Chelsea v United maybe?

Nope...if I have no stake in the game (know of a player or live in the same area, etc), it doesn't matter the sport. I'm simply not interested.

Now, I ALMOST went to see Bayern Munchen play Kaiserslautern when I was in Germany. That would have been a lot of fun, but we never did it. Wish we would have.

To stay on topic....Go Thunder!

Harden has turned into a beast this year. We truly have a big 3 now. On the downside, i'm still trying to figure out what possible use Kendrick Perkins has. The guy is useless if you ask me and i know 3 year olds who are better in the low post.

We went to a game just before the playoffs began, the 2nd to the last game of the season, meaningless game against the Kings.

Daequan Cook was impressive.

Collison did well guarding Dirk, so I really don't know what Perkins' contribution is. Harden is excellent and carried the team in Game 4.

So if you have to choose, eventually, Harden or Ibaka.

Tough choice, but i'd choose Harden. To me, the only thing keeping OKC from becoming a dominant franchise is a true low-post scoring threat. Not that Harden helps that department, but if trading Ibaka could bring in a guy in the low-post that would help in that department, i might do it. Hopefully, they can keep them both and draft the low post guy (and trade Kendrick Perkins for a clipboard or something).

Definitely a tough choice. Didn't Ibaka lead the NBA in blocked shots? Hard to let a guy like that go. Harden, though, is the 3rd head of the 3-headed monster, and he provides a HUGE spark througout the game.

Forced into it, I'd keep Harden.

Although Cook is going to be a good 6th man candidate very soon. He impressed me.

I love Ibaka's game and yes, i think he did lead the NBA in blocked shots. He's developed a nice mid-range jumper as well. He definitely brings a lot to the table and still has a lot of upside.
