Holy Carp Happy! What kind of car do you drive? I go through, roughly, $250 a month.

I have 80 mile round trip, just for work. Big Guy is 200 miles round trip, in Delaware. Ummmmm, plus Little Man and all his track meets. I drive a lot. I own a new Civic, 35 MPG. It's a Beautiful thing. It doesn't have all of the bells and whistles, but it keeps me away from the gas pumps!!

Wouldn't that be because one can't pump her own gas in NJ?

Holy Carp Happy! What kind of car do you drive? I go through, roughly, $250 a month. Honda CR-V, average 28 MPG, daily commute is 100 miles, weekends I put as much as another 400, so i'm between 3,000-3,500 miles per month, easily...

Yikes. I fill up every two weeks or so. $100-$125 maybe. 80 miles to get to work and back makes me sad!

I have been averaging 28-30 highway MPG in my new CRV...I have made a concious effort to keep the speed in the 60-65mph range.

The reason gas prices are declining is the market no longer believes we are going to have a prosperous year and thus will consume less oil. Not exactly the reason we want gas prices to go down.

It may be cheaper to drive across the OK border than the Mexican border to get gas....

Way, way south.

Anyone here use the "Gas Buddy" app on their iPhone?
That usually works pretty well finding the cheapest gas in your area.

That usually works pretty well finding the cheapest gas in your area. Haven't tried it. Guess I should add it. However, Tulsa is the home to Q-Trip and they always have the lowest prices in town and are on practically every block. Kinda like the Starbucks of Tulsa.
