SFO rocks. And Jet Blue flies there too.

My favorite is Jet Blue out of Long Beach. Long Beach is a samll airport that has sort of stood still in time since the 1960's. No crowds, no lines, security is fairly simple.

Favorite other airline is Delta. I've read the statistics that show Delta as having lots of complaints and their flights are not on time, but I have never had a problem with them.

I have never flown in or out of San Diego, but I've heard that take-offs and landings are similar to those on an aircraft carrier because the airport is so close to downtown.

I like this airport; nice and compact. Nothing to do once you get through security, however. I've flown in and out of this airport three times and landing is a trip--you're flying quite low coming in and I swear you can "peep" into people's windows!

My brother made a comment last year after they flew to Key West. Apparently you don't even see the airport until you're right on it.

That can be said of the airport on Marathon Key as well.

I actually kind of liked the Atlanta airport the few times I was there.

Vegas was kind of strange, smaller than I expected.

Memphis is OK, but don't get the panini sandwich...

Houston is kind of a pain to get around and it always seems like my connecting flights are at different ends of the airport. I always seem to get stuck in the dungeon at Houston, where the regional flights arrive and depart, where they try to cram 500 people into a very confined space with one restroom.

Detroit - well I was there all of about 5 minutes and I was running full speed so I have no idea.

St. Louis wasn't remarkable.

Midway was much nicer than O'Hare and you get the bonus of the thrill factor on landing and take off!

Pulling people out of the ditc...
for commercial, either Southwest or JetBlue...both have great on time records, no charge for 1st 2 bags and a carryone, low prices, and JetBlue has sattelite TV/radio at each seat...

The smaller airports are best as they have minimal waits...

current and previous bank have planes, that is my preferred method, walk up and get on...

My favorite airport is Seattle-Tacoma (SEA), especially when we arrive at the B gates instead of the satellite.

Memphis is okay?? ARE YOU NUTS! Poor TJ isn't allowed to put me through Memphis anymore. I did however get a nice little voucher from Delta since their agent was a huge B to me.

Atlanta was the first airport I navigated all by myself so its on my favorite list. I don't remember anything about LAX except I was scared to death. LOL

As far as airlines, AA seats work best for me. Deltas seats are too high and my legs fall asleep ... and the plane is always dirty when I fly Delta Connections.

What? You got one bad Panini and a rude Delta employee and you're writing it off? Lol.

Oh, I've been through Milwakee too - all I remember was that they had a lot of cheese in the airport shops.

Will Rogers World Airport in OKC is pretty cool too laugh

Houston Hobby is not as bad as Intercontinental. (Or maybe it's vice versa....been awhile since i've flown--and not drove--into Houston, but i remembered one of the airports i liked better than the other.)

So true- I love seeing rooftops right below me then all of a sudden, there is a runway! Actually my favorite airport as well. O'Hare no way. I'll vote for Southwest-been using them for years and have never had a complaint. I like their seating arrangement now as well-I'll pay an extra $10 for an early bird seat.

Does everyone have a spot on the plane where they like to sit? We always seem to end up in the row right behind the Emergency Escape Door. Right on the wing. smile

On my flight home Monday I had seat 1A which had the microscopic tray table that folds into the arm of the seat, no under seat storage for a carry on, and had an exit door in front and directly across from me. The wind noise was so bad I had to put in my head phones.

Typically I get the seat that is next to the 400 pound sweaty man who lifts the arm rest so he can spill over to take up half my seat, is afraid to fly, and gets motion sickness. On the other side of me I usually have a mother with an infant who has colic, a cold, and diarrhea.

Sorry, next time I'll try to change this up a bit and I'll have the diarrhea.

Not a lot of stress flying in or out of WRWA is there? You can arrive 20 minutes before the flight leaves and still have extra time. I think Houston is a pain, Dallas and Phoenix are a pain, Las Vegas is easy, JFK and Charles De Gualle have the best people watching and Denver/San Francisco are too big. I would love to see Heathrow. I bet it is the best people watching of all.

Back in the days when I was a smoker Denver was my favorite airport. It actually had a nice indoor smoking lounge - the catch? You had to buy a minimum of one drink. The upside? Doubles were only a dollar more. Sure made the remainder of the flight more fun ~

I think Atlanta still has one of those smoking rooms/lounges.

When you walk by, the cloud is unbelievably thick; yuck,
