I'm all in one piece! I was over checking on the folks when the daughter showed up too! But we just got tiny hail, wind, rain and unbelievable lighting show!

Some crazy looking hail and such down there!
I sort of assumed ^^that guy got a little crazy with his Thor hammer and the storms were the result.

We had between golf ball and baseball sized hail in two rounds last nite. That hail hitting the house was pretty scarey. From what we can tell so far we only sustained cracked windshields on the farm truck and another older vehicle.
Another round kicks off today around 3ish. Good luck everyone.

I've heard that there were some grapefruit sized hail around last nite, but I'm not sure where that was. My mother in law lives less than a 1/4 mile away from our house and she didn't have any hail at all. Strange Oklahoma weather!

Tulsa just had lots of noise, a great light show and much needed rain. I think our BOL leaders were hit pretty hard. I know CC was sending pictures from her storm shelter. Her, her hubby, two kids and 4 dogs. Pretty cozy in there.
Don't know what it is about OKC but they seem to attract just about every storm that comes thru the state.

I still don't have a place to go to be safe. I just tell the storms they can't come by my apt.

Top floor of apartment here, when our sirens go off, going to the first floor hallway would be a joke as there's a door at each end that would make a great wind tunnel!
Might as well just go outside and flip off the clouds, same level of safety!
Cramming yourself into a closet or bathtub is good, crouching under your desk with your hands on your neck only protects from nuclear blasts though, not storms as is commonly misunderstood.

Cousin lives between Dallas/Fort Worth. Last time they had the sirens go off, she crouched in a closet with the 2 dogs, with a mattress over all of them. <----- Very, very happy I don't live down South/Midwest like y'all.
