I heard on the radio this morning that, because of this book, men's necktie sales are up 23%, and hardware stores sales of rope to women are up tenfold.
What is wrong with people??? My guess is they're bored and grasping at straws, or..., whatever.

Book on tape version, read by Betty White please. OMG- that would be classic. I would buy 50 shades if it was read by Betty White. And I'd bet she'd do it. Betty doesn't seem to be one to shy away.

LOL! OK - so I just looked them up on Amazon with my phone and sorted the search results to Kindle only. The three books are listed, then a bundle of them, then these: A Million Shades of Green - the story behind Fifty Shades of Grey Fifty Shades of Black and Blue (I'm guessing this is a parody) Fifty Shades of Beige: Book One of the Fifty Shades Parody A Guy's Secret Guide to Fifty Shades of Grey I think the off-shoots might be more entertaining than the actual books.  That list is Priceless...The last one has got to be worth, what....99cents?  I confess...I ordered book 1. I have it in my 'to-do' list, but it's not a top runner...I have really good ones to finish first. And if the smut rating is lower than BDB  I'm thinking it must be pretty dang tame..so what is all the fuss about??

Seems to be the counterpoint to White Knight Syndrome and a man's want/need to rescue the damsel in distress.
I have been accused of possessing this syndrom, but really I just think I look good in a set of armor.
