Now I'm picturing Matt in a lawn chair outside a convenience store with a cooler and a six pack watching the gas price sign change....
$3.99 here yesterday ($3.96 with my Sheetz Loyalty Card). Cost me $45 to fill up a Ford Focus. I would need a home equity loan to fill up my F-150.

Now I'm picturing Matt in a lawn chair outside a convenience store with a cooler and a six pack watching the gas price sign change.... It's Iowa...you kind of have to make your own entertainment here. If you're not tipping cows or making meth, you're probably watching the gas prices.

Matt B, Professor Bloom forgot about the cow tipping. How could he forget that? If we could just run cars on meth we'd be set. If half these tweakers would put as much effort towards finding out a way to run a car without gas as they do manufacturing meth they might be able to at least keep their teeth.

To be honest, the only time I've ever seen anyone try to tip a cow is on Tommy Boy. Plenty of people get busted for meth making though, so I know that's a real possibility! Biodiesel isn't a terrible option, but large scale would be kind of complicated. I support rickshaws personally!

I would need a home equity loan to fill up my F-150.
$3.69 here...it cost $92.00 to fill up my F-150. I was waiting as long as possible in hopes it would drop.

Take your pick $3.73 here, but this really reminds me of a Letter of Credit issue I had. I notified the company holding it that as per the agreement we were 90 days from expiration and we were not going to renew it. He said they wanted to draw on it then. The bank had used their form and it had a clause that if they felt unsecured, they could draw. If we weren't renewing, they felt unsecured. The price of oil seems to be regulated by the same guy.

I use to get so ticked off when the pump would shut off at $75 and my truck wasnt full. Never thought I'd be happy that they raised the limit to $100.

They raised the limit to $125 here. Last I looked it was $3.79 in my town.

If I didn't have my daughter's track meet this afternoon, I would have rode my bike to work today. $40 in the truck last night (actually $40.01, don't you hate that!) didn't even get me a half tank.

I'm a teller (for two more weeks), and we look out our drivethrough window right onto the gas station down the street. we watch gas prices ALOT. Right now, it's 3.97- and my gas light is on. I live a mile from work - if i didn't have to work the 2nd job tonight, i wouldn't get gas until thursday. lol I may start riding the bike to the bank.
