Heard a story about a girl named Ladasha, which in itself isn't too bad.
But, that's not how it was spelled. Her parents spelled her name "La-a". See? La dash a. I heard that same story, only they spelled it "Le-a" (the e is supposed to have the little ` thingie over it but I don't know how to make my keyboard do that). Part of the story I got was that the mother told hospital staff to spell it "L, e, comma to the top, dash, a." ETA: methinks this is probably urban legend.  Me too. I've heard this story from 3 different people in 2 states.

I've heard the Lé-a story from 3 different people that all knew someone who had a friend/relative that knew someone who had this person in their class or some similar story. By the third time, it started to seem a little fishy.

My sister's name is Rise pronounced Risa. The e is supposed to have two dots over it but I have no idea how you type those in.

Our former legal counsel's name was Tom Brady. He did say that when he signed up for a tee-time at cetain golf courses they would practically roll out the red carpet ..... which was then hurridly rolled back up when they saw a 70+ year old man rather than the QB
My mom also works in L&D at the hospital and says that once a patient thought that the name the hospital had given to her baby girl was so pretty she would keep it. FEMALE(she pronounced it fe-ma-lay)but honestly she thought that the hospital named the kid LOL I thought you meant Tom Brady from the Brady Bunch.....how sad of me. LOL - Loving the Brady Bunch ... as long as it wasn't Cousin Oliver LOL

My brother's name is Aaron Michael D. and my step-brother's name is Aaron Michael B. Does that count?
(They are both the same age - only a month and 3 days apart, both drove the same make and model car in HS - just a different color, and both went into the service after school - different branches.)

That's wild! Hey Mani- I think they may have even us beat! EDIT: To clarify for thos enot on our wavelength- Mani and I have so many similarities it's Twilight zone quality stuff. We are pretty close to the same person. But since those guys ^^^^ ARE the same person, i think they win.

My husband had three brothers - two from his dad and one from his mom.
The two from his dad were full brothers (same mom and dad). One was named Chris. Chris died in a car accident when he was very young. Mom and Dad divorced.
Dad married a lady that had a son named Chris.
Mother married a man that had a son named Chris.
Brother married a woman named Christine.
