Maybe once I have a fenced in yard I could just let them hunt for themselves full-time... Pulling bunnies out of their mouths in front of the neighbors is not as fun as it sounds. Guess it reinforces me as Alpha tho, right? Aaahhh memories. Picture it. It is a nice beautiful Easter morning. You take the little one (3 or 4 years old) out to hunt eggs. Not only has the Rott ate all the eggs and left all the shells trashing the yard, she is now prancing around sporting a dead white bunny that she caught - with one itty bitty white leg sticking out of the side of her mouth. She kept throwing it up to get it to run again and then pouncing on it. Gosh that traumatized the little one, but hysterical now. Sorry to interrupt. Please continue.....

Yes, your car has more power than my Honda CR-V, and the hood scoopp is really intimidating as you ride my bumper in rush hour traffic and I have nowhere to go to get out ouf your way. The Goth music blasting loudly from your speakers that I can hear with my windows up and XM playing is impressive, truly a qualiuty system that will quickly contribute to your early hearing loss. The stickers you have strategically placed on your bumper and back windshield, such as "Black Flag" and "Smokers Have Rights Too" and "Your Daughter Was Great Last Night" make me realize that there is hope for the youth of America, and that your parents must be so proud!
One item of note I'd like to point out...all of the above, with your coolness factor weighed in, is offset by the fact that, even though it was a WRX, it was a WRX station wagon...and you just can't be cool in a station wagon, no matter what stickers you put on it, how you dress, or how loud the stereo is... *Flips extra long bangs back* ...Conformist...

Not to excuse them at all but certain WRX model years only came in 5 door (stationwagon) models.
If it is the STi then it can be considered fast by some. The plain WRX, no, not really.
Back to the topic at hand. I can't stand people that blast their music in slow/stopped traffic. Have just a little consideration for those around you. That includes everyone, not just certain types of music. If you want it loud then roll up your window.

Need to look for the Bumper Sticker that says "My Daughter said you were lousy last night."

Manimal, speaking of horrifying memories for a child. My wife and then, 7 year old walked out to get the mail. Granted we live in the country and have a somewhat, long lane from the road to our home. When my wife and son got to the end of the lane they see a fawn and its mother in the ditch grazing. However, our rot/lab mixed dog saw the sweet little fawn too. The doe bolted over the fence, but the fawn couldn't clear it. Needless to say, the sound of a baby fawn getting caught by the throat will send shivers down anyone's spine. By the time I got there it was too late. The only spectators were my wife and kid.

I feel bad for any young child that has to witness this. I just tell myself: This is nature, this is what animals do. They are acting on instinct. And then I sing 'The Circle of Life' from The Lion King to myself. And just so we stay on topic... why do people still buy those loud performance mufflers? I think they sound horrible. Do they actually enhance the car's performance in some way? I much prefer an engine that purrs versus than one that gargles.

loud performance mufflers on a big motor makes a difference. On a small motor just reminds the driver to turn on the dishwasher.

So the guy with the Mustang GT is okay, but the guy with the '92 Civic is just wasting his money?

So the guy with the Mustang GT is okay, but the guy with the '92 Civic is just wasting his money? Yes, to a degree. The exhaust does not have to be loud in order to reduce back pressure so the GT guy is loud because he wants loud AND performance. The Civic guy just wants to sound like he has performance.
