lol- as I said, my mike doesn't read much, but he found the word games on my kindle touch, and is constantly stealing it to play those.

One day, when Imma done studying, I have The Road by Cormac McCarthy. But I can't let myself get started on that until April 7th.

And I will soon be reading Maui Revealed, just have to get to the bookstore.

Well to be fair, it's not like those are exactly quick reads, either.

I know it's not....I'm going to have to be in a real happy place when I do read it so I don't commit suicide or something.

My purpose of reading it is to take away little bits of it, quotes to reflect on, rather then swallowing it all as a whole. It might take me a long time to get through it.

And thanks for the warning Kit! I was hoping that at least the end would be happy...but I guess not. frown

Jodie Picoult's Handle With Care. It's been on my nightstand for months and I have avoided reading it becuase I always get so emotionally involved in her stories. And yep, after the first chapter I was involved again!

First of I would like to apologize for continuing the 2011 thread after this one was open, I have been MIA for awhile and RRSarah's post caught my eye!

Finished Kiss of Midnight last night and it is very similar to the BDB books. I will probably keep reading into the series after I read Susan Frasier King's Queen Hereafter

Handle With Care was very good. I always love Picoult books. Just finished Left Neglected by Lisa Genova ..... slow start but the core of the story and the end was very good. Also based on an actual illness which I had never heard of and found quite interesting.

Finish the first two books in the Soul Savers series- Mani, you'll LOVE these.

The first book -Promise- was an amazon freebie, and the 2nd book -Purpose- was $4.99. there is a Prequel Novella -Genesis- for 99cents that I'm starting today. The third book -Devotion- comes out next month, and I'm excited.

I'm slowly making my way through about 20 amazon freebies, most of which are book 1s to a series, and I'm having a hard time picking which sequels I'm going to pay for.

BDB as in Black Dagger Brotherhood?

I started a re-read over the holidays, I need to get the rest of my books back from a friend so I can finish.
