We're working on updating our security program and would like to know what the standards or best practices are on security surveillance retention on recording or photos. Please assist.

Ditto Dana. Depending on how many cameras and locations you have, one year of DVR storage might be cost prohibitive. I would say 90 days is a good start... that syncs with the longest time a customer could contest a transaction (60 days after the statement which it appeared on). That way you could pull footage from a fraudulent check passed at your teller line.
